Art critique:
1. Explain the process you went through to develop your drawing. When setting up the drawing, I looked up several different references for the different animal/plant parts that are in the drawing. I Photo shopped a picture of my self with those references to have an idea of what I wanted. 2. Explain how you found the different values in the portrait? I used 3 different colors. along with an HB pencil/ B pencil. I used a tissue paper ot shade. 3. Did you achieve a full range of the different values within your portrait? How? Because i used different other colors as well I could make contrast within the photo having it be black and white as well as have some sort of color. 4. Describe your craftsmanship. Is the artwork executed and crafted neatly? Yes I think the piece is neat, but the plants I do not believe are that well crafted. 5. How were you able to capture your look? I was using my reference drawing but before I worked on my final i practiced several times drawing my face before attempting to draw on the final. 6. Explain how you made sure you had correct facial feature placement. I made sure in the benging of the process of this piece, I used the lines to help me tell were the eyes, ears, nose, etc were placed. 7. Explain the importance of learning how to draw all the features individually. The importance of learning how to draw all the features individually is it shows the artist the small details that each individual parts. You cannot just draw the whole with out the parts. 8. What part of this unit was the most beneficial and why? this unit was useful to me because of the learning of facial features, anatomy is very important when it comes to character/ drawing. as well as volume. 9. List any obstacles you had to overcome? I had to over come the mixing and matching of animal parts and human facial features within this drawing. I also had to over come figuring out color placement since I used very little colors.
